Hi, I’m Ashleigh 👋

Mom of two adorable gingers, lifelong yoga practitioner, and perinatal wellness nerd.

My yoga journey started in high school, when a teacher offered a free class after school. From that first class, yoga became a steady thread running through my life — a practice that has held me, challenged me, and carried me through seasons of change, growth, and motherhood.

For many years, I worked in early childhood education full-time, while yoga stayed as my personal practice. Eventually, I followed the call to study further and step into teaching.

✨ My Training & Experience

  • 200hr Hatha Yoga Teacher Training
  • Pilates Instructor Certification
  • 100hr Pre & Postnatal Yoga (Shakti Yoga) – started training when my first baby was just 10 weeks old
  • 100hr Children’s Yoga Instructor
  • Studies in Child Growth & Development (Early Childhood Education background)
  • Currently training as a La Leche League Breastfeeding Peer Counsellor

Since my very first prenatal yoga classes during pregnancy, I knew I wanted to support mothers through this journey. I’ve now spent years teaching prenatal and postpartum yoga, and it continues to be some of the most rewarding work of my life.

🧘‍♀️ What I Teach

I specialize in:

  • Prenatal Yoga – easing discomforts, building strength, and preparing body + mind for birth
  • Postpartum Yoga & Recovery – gentle movement, pelvic floor/core connection, restoring energy, and creating space for YOU
  • Pilates-Inspired Movement – evidence-based, functional movement that supports long-term strength

My classes weave together yoga, mindfulness, and evidence-based movement, always tailored to the unique needs of mothers and families.

🌸 My Teaching Philosophy

I believe yoga isn’t about “getting back” to something — it’s about reconnecting with who you are now.

  • Classes are gentle, supportive, and realistic — designed to meet you exactly where you are.
  • I prioritize evidence-based movement that works with your healing body, not against it.
  • I hold space for moms to feel seen, supported, and empowered, whether in pregnancy, postpartum, or beyond.

🌿 What You Can Expect

In my classes, you’ll find:

  • Breath practices that calm your nervous system
  • Movements that ease aches, rebuild strength, and restore confidence
  • Gentle meditation + mindfulness to help you feel grounded
  • A community of moms who get it

It’s not about being perfect — it’s about moving with compassion and creating space for yourself again.

💛 Who I Love to Work With

  • Moms-to-be wanting safe, nurturing prenatal support
  • New moms (from 6–8 weeks postpartum) who want to reconnect with their body
  • Women seeking a supportive community during the perinatal journey

🌼 Beyond the Mat

When I’m not teaching, you’ll usually find me:

  • Curled up with a good book (or three 📚)
  • Spending time with my husband and kids (usually in the garden, messy hair and all)
  • Studying new ways to support mothers — because this work lights me up
