Ashleigh Christie is a yoga and movement instructor with nearly two decades of personal practice and over six years of teaching experience. She is a certified 200hr Hatha Yoga Instructor, 100hr Pre & Postnatal Yoga Instructor (Shakti Yoga), 100hr Children’s Yoga Instructor, and Pilates instructor. With additional studies in Child Growth and Development, Ashleigh brings both depth and breadth to her work with mothers and children.
Her journey into perinatal yoga began after her own first pregnancy, when she experienced firsthand the challenges and physical demands of this life stage. Just 10 weeks after giving birth, she started her Pre and Postnatal certification and has been teaching in this space ever since. She is also currently training as a La Leche League Breastfeeding Peer Counsellor, further expanding her ability to support mothers holistically.
Ashleigh’s classes are grounded in evidence-based movement and focus on gentle, practical routines that ease common discomforts in pregnancy and postpartum. With empathy, experience, and expertise, she aims to help every mother feel stronger, more confident, and supported throughout her journey.
